Topic:

Типові проблеми у розробці та тестуванні сучасних AI застосунків. Майже свята, тож самий час поспілкуватися формально та не формально на афтепаті :).

This session is about the new problems that developers can encounter with new LLM-based projects. Some problems are easy to solve with a proper design, evaluation strategy, and a few experiments, like adjusting search indexes and tuning for optimal data retrieval. Others are more serious, like the difficulty of keeping context in large token windows, automating prompt engineering, formatting output and finding the right balance between performance, cost, and complexity.

Key topics

- Making the right choices with design and components of modern AI apps.

- Response evaluation problem with auto and human evaluation.

- Multi-agent/LLM approach for validation and secondary fact-checking.

- Finding a balance with RAG data ingestion of different document types, repeatable information, and optimal search.

- Challenges with Model and RAG poisoning by external actors and company employees.

Join this talk to learn more about these problems, design choices, strategies to minimize their impact, and how to prepare for your next LLM project.

1) Azure Bicep experimental features and Azure Monitoring Dashboards by Anton Boyko

A long time ago, Microsoft created Bicep to improve our experience working with ARM templates. They repeatedly stated that they didn't want to reinvent another Terraform, but they were inspired by it. On the other hand, we can't neglect the overall impact of Terraform on the infrastructure as code practice. So now we can see that some of the features from Terraform are sneaking their way into the Bicep.

Azure Monitoring Dashboards:

We all know how to create Azure monitoring dashboards, and we love them. In less than a day, you can create a dashboard for your environment and easily observe all relevant infrastructure metrics. However, the issue usually is not with the dashboards themselves but with the way we create them. In most projects that Anton has participated in, dashboards were created manually. But if we are automating all our infrastructure via code, why are we making an exception for monitoring dashboards? In this session, Anton would like to share his experience of creating Azure monitoring dashboards via code and deploying them together with the infrastructure itself.

Anton Boyko - Founder and main speaker at Ukrainian Microsoft Azure Community. 20 years in IT industry. Worked as Developer, DevOps, Architect, CIO. Participated in a global worldwide projects with millions of users load. Has his own IT consultancy practice, helps organizations of different sizes to be more efficient by investing into modernization. Microsoft Azure MVP since 2014. Microsoft Regional Director since 2020.
